First thing first, excuse the pun but I thought it sounded as a great title.
It’s finally about time to head out and do some travelling, again, albeit disguised as “fieldwork”. On July 2nd, I’ll be flying to Kuching and start a Borneo underground exploration for the next month. It’s been 5 years since I was on the island last… time flies. Well… it’s been a quite intense 5 years, I would like to point out.
I am expecting to meet some very interesting people I have “recruited” in the past few months, and hope to find new friends along the way. I will make stops in Kuching, Sibu, Bintulu, Miri in Sarawak, and Kota Kinabalu, Beaufort, Keningau, Sandakan in Sabah. This is indeed a rough plan, and things, as always, are subjected to “on the road development”. I desperately need some adventure for a change, as this year I’ve been sitting at the desk too much. Many amazing things you don’t even know about are coming together and will be real soon, but I realize they have taken their toll. I need to get going, or I’ll burn myself out completely.
Hence, find me in Malaysian Borneo in July 2013, and feel free to contact me if you are around those latitudes as I am, or are an extreme musician of the region.
